Important Information About November SNAP Benefits

Due to the federal government shutdown, the United States Department of Agriculture has informed the State of Colorado and Las Animas County Dept. of Human Services (LACDHS) that November 2025 SNAP benefits can not be issued at this time. What does this mean for new and existing SNAP recipients?

  • You will be able to use your EBT card to purchase food as long as you have benefits on your card.
  • SNAP benefits will not be issued for November 2025 until additional information is received from the federal government. This is a change impacting all SNAP households and cannot be appealed.
  • We do not have any further information about November SNAP benefits at this time.
